PowerSchool not reflecting current grades

For the last couple of months (Trimester 1 & now Trimester 2), we have experienced an issue with Powerschool not correctly updating student's final class grades. This is a problem with the actual application and we can do nothing to fix this, it has to be fixed at the corporate software engineering level and sent to us in an update or a patch.
Please do not rely on the Quick Lookup final grade in the Powerschool parent/student portal as to how the student is currently doing in his/her class until notified in a future web article. There is a process teachers can do to periodically to update their grades to reflect on the quick lookup screen, but it is not being done automatically as the program is intended to work.
Your child has been notified of this issue and was encouraged to check with teachers for current grade progress.
