Charles City Back to School Registration 2020

Welcome Back

Welcome to Charles City Community Schools, where regardless of who you are or what your story is, you can learn and be loved here.

First day back to school for students

The first day back to school for students is Thursday, August 27, 2020.
Parent/teacher conferences are Tuesday / Wednesday, Aug. 25/26

Registration 2020

Charles City Community Schools utilizes an online school registration process where you register and pay online. Families will not pay additional fees for online payments. The two-step process requires you to log in to PowerSchool, update the registration information we have on file for each student, then pay school fees by clicking a link to our online payment software, SchoolPay.

Family options

As part of the registration process, your family will have the opportunity to choose if you would like to learn remotely at home even when Charles City Community Schools as a whole is engaged in onsite (face-to-face) learning. Remote learning will be guided by qualified teachers and involve regular check-ins and assignment completion. You will be able to come back to onsite learning when the time is right for your family.

Online registration

Online registration will begin on July 27. All Charles City Community Schools' families will register online. If you need in-person assistance, we will provide technical support and computer access.

Make sure we have your correct mobile phone and email addresses for your family. We are communicating via text and email to quickly reach your family with up-to-date information.
