The Iowa Department of Public Health, the Iowa Department of Public Education, and the Iowa Department of Justice changed the details on how public entities such as schools should disclose information about positive cases of COVID-19 to the public. Our dashboard and daily messages will be changing beginning Tuesday, September 29 to accommodate their new guidelines. You can review the new information.
This means our daily reports are no longer able to specify the campus where individual cases are identified.
We will continue to keep you informed and be as transparent as possible within the legal guidelines stipulated by the State of Iowa.
Floyd County Public Health is the source for this data.
Quarantine Individuals - have been in close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19. This person they came in contact with is not necessarily connected with the school. Close contact is defined at being within 6 feet of someone for more than 15 minutes.
Positive Test - the individual has taken a COVID-19 test and results returned with a positive result.
We will update the data regularly.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or are being tested for COVID-19 you should not come to school.
