Charles City sits on the beautiful Cedar River in Floyd County. While we are a community that’s incredibly proud of our history, we also are always looking for new avenues of exploration. One recent example has been the development of the first-ever whitewater course in the state of Iowa!
Charles City also benefits from an active Community Revitalization group that's behind a number of activities and events throughout the year.
